"When one lives in wonder, what good is reality? Wonder Seeker"
My entry for the "Anime Mania" contest on Seventh Sanctum (
[link]). I Generated the title "Wonder Seeker", and for the contest, I was supposed to create an ad or something for an anime that doesn't actually exist.
This anime (okay, okay, humor me here, alright?) was made in the year 2009, but wasn't finished until recently this year (2010). The idea of what to draw came to me when I was looking at a bunch of my old drawings, and found one of a silver haired magician blowing fire from his fingertips, and the fire then turned to butterflies (I never posted said drawing).
"Wonder Seeker" was sort of a cross between "Nightmare Inspector" and "The Chronicles of the Grim Peddler", and it's about a mysterious man with long silver hair (as seen in the picture) who travels around and grants people "wonders", which are things they never thought they'd see in real life, such as dragons and mermaids and fairies. But this nameless man never stopped to clean up his mess, but rather watched everything unfold before him as if watching a movie. These "wonders" he granted people were much like the dreams that Hiruko eats in "Nightmare inspector"--they were small marble like objects that, when held tightly in one's hands while a wish is being made, would break open and unleash this wonder upon the world, and more often than not, disaster soon followed.
;XD Yup, so that's my entry for the contest. Thank ya for putting up with it in your inbox. The link to the contest is
[link] and was posted earlier in the comments, and just so they don't miss it, here it is again
